I just want to flag an email you should have received earlier today from the IFT:
It’s time to take our fight to fix the Tier 2 pension system to Springfield! On Wednesday, November 13, at noon, join public employees from across the state as we rally in the State Capitol (401 S. 2nd St.) to demand lawmakers fix Tier 2.
We need a big crowd to flood the Capitol to ensure our voices are heard and lawmakers understand the urgency of addressing this problem.
Nearly half of Illinois teachers, paraprofessionals, professors, and public employees will receive Tier 2 pensions. We cannot wait any longer to take action. Please join us on November 13 to demand a fix to this unfair system.
