March 4th Day of Action -- we need your help!!
This isn't just about dismantling a department or a bureaucracy – it's about protecting vital funding that students rely on in every community. We cannot allow tax cuts for billionaires to come at the expense of our children's future. These cuts will affect Title I (Poor), Title III (ELL), IDEA (Special Ed.) students.
What to do:
- Please wear blue on Tuesday, Mar. 4, 2025.
- Take pictures of groups of Union Members in their blue outfits. Email pictures to: Kelly Deloriea, Kdeloriea@wstu571.org, and Kylee Murray, kmurray@wstu571.org,
- Encourage your friends, family, endorsed BoE candidates, celebrities (if you know any) to wear blue and take pictures. Email pictures to Kdeloriea@wstu571.org and kmurray@wstu571.org
- Take video of how cuts to Department of Education will impact our schools and hurt our students. Send to Kdeloriea@wstu571.org
