Notice of Vacancy- You are hereby notified that there is a vacancy of the West Suburban Teachers Union, Local 571 Officer, Area Trustee (2 open positions). The term of office for these vacancies will expire June 30, 2029. If you are interested in the position of Area Trustee, please place your name in for nomination by requesting and completing the nomination form from Patty Clancy. You must be a member. To ensure consideration of the nomination, the nomination form must be received by email, mail, or personal delivery to West Suburban Teachers Union in the Westmont Office no later than 3:00 p.m. on October 16, 2026. The Local 571 Executive Board will select two candidates to fill the interim vacancies at the next regularly scheduled board meeting on November 2, 2026.
